Death Piece
in development
In The Death Piece, we explore a taboo subject - death (the name really gives it away). Death is a reality our culture doesn't like to contemplate, something we hide away from, drawing velvet curtains over coffins and painting dead bodies with makeup so they look alive. We do everything we can to disguise the reality of the ephemeral nature of our physical existence.
But it’s also the great joiner. We all die, so why don’t we pull the curtains back and reveal the truth?
By connecting with death, we remember that we are alive, extraordinary beings experiencing unbelievable moments of transcendence, possibility and interconnectedness. Together we will grieve, mourn and lament, but also ultimately celebrate the incredible and fragile truth of our existence on this planet.
